This lot features a complete set of the American Revolution Bicentennial First Day Issue Postage Covers, created by the Franklin Philatelic Society. The Franklin Philatelic Society is a special division of The Franklin Mint, specializing in postage stamps and other items. The collection was issued in time to celebrate the United State’s Bicentennial celebration in 1976, and features a large number of First Day Issue postage covers from different countries celebrating the United States Bicentennial. Each postage cover is placed in a protective sleeve with a page dedicated to the country of origin that goes over the history of the country, and a certificate of authenticity on the reverse side. All the covers are placed in a handsome binder covered with navy blue vinyl and white lettering. This book measures approximately 9.75” x 13” x 4”, and all items in this lot are in good condition.
