Chinese girl and boy good fortune ceramic figurines. They are posed in greeting and each holds a large coin painted shiny gold with a red and yellow tassel. Their clothing is painted colorfully with moriage detailing. These figurines represent the Jade Girl and Golden Boy of Chinese legend, whose birth was accompanied by many discoveries of riches and treasures. This is reflected in the large coins that they hold in offering. They measure approximately 8" tall, 4" wide at widest point, and 4" long, with a base diameter of about 3.25". Great condition with no chips, cracks or scratches.
