This is a high quality porcelain figurine of an woman with long braided hair seated and playing the Chinese pipa, a four-string plucked lute. Beautiful colors and fine details. The head and hands have been left unglazed for a more realistic look. She wears a jade bangle that moves freely on her wrist and has chrysanthemum flowers in her hair. Maker's mark on the bottom has Chinese characters and the number 31. Measures approximately 9.75" tall, 6" long, 6.5" wide. Great condition.
